About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Contributes to the design and development of enterprise abstractions, automation frameworks
- Supports the creation of reusable platform services and shared components
- Applies solid software engineering principles to platform problems
- Builds scalable internal products and collaborates closely with senior engineers
- Develops core capabilities such as manifest driven integration, policy as code enforcement
- Directly contributes to Truist’s modernization strategy by helping transform platform capabilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
- In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
- Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
- Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
- Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
