About the role
- Underwrite all credit requests, including new requests and credit decisioning
- Recommend credit structures with respect to quality and profitability
- Ensure adherence to risk philosophy, risk appetite, and lending strategies
- Analyze financial statements and navigate various financial structures
- Ensure commercial lending activities follow Truist's policies
- Build relationships with Risk Management and client managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training
- 3 years or less experience in commercial lending and/or credit experience
- Comprehensive commercial lending, underwriting, and regulatory knowledge
- Demonstrated effective problem solving skills
- Understanding of financial and cost accounting principles
- Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
