About the role

  • Underwrite all credit requests, including new requests and credit decisioning
  • Recommend credit structures with respect to quality and profitability
  • Ensure adherence to risk philosophy, risk appetite, and lending strategies
  • Analyze financial statements and navigate various financial structures
  • Ensure commercial lending activities follow Truist's policies
  • Build relationships with Risk Management and client managers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and related training
  • 3 years or less experience in commercial lending and/or credit experience
  • Comprehensive commercial lending, underwriting, and regulatory knowledge
  • Demonstrated effective problem solving skills
  • Understanding of financial and cost accounting principles
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
