About the role
- Lead architecture teams focused on generative and agentic AI system and platform architecture elements consumed enterprise-wide
- Develop reference architectures including principles, patterns, standards, and practices for generative and agentic AI products
- Manage and govern the utilization and adherence of the application portfolio for approved generative and agentic AI architectures
- Set, adapt, and instantiate strategic direction for generative and agentic AI in alignment with the business strategy
- Lead generative and agentic AI architecture roadmap development
- Architect cross-cutting enterprise agentic solutions that span multiple CIOs and domains
- Maintain a high level of awareness and understanding of existing and emerging generative and agentic opportunities
- Develop enterprise architect talent through mentoring of existing architects
- Develop solution architect talent from onboarding through career evolution
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or equivalent education and related training
- Seven to ten years of architecture/design/delivery experience
- Comprehensive experience with various architectural domains such as application, data, infrastructure, security and integration
- Strong analytical and broad architectural skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiation/facilitation skills
- Significant knowledge of current and emerging architecture principles, methodologies and tools
- Experience as negotiator with vendors for relevant products and services
- Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking
- Demonstrated thought-leadership skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
- Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.
