About the role

  • Define, lead, and execute Truist Audit Services’ enterprise AI vision, strategy, and operating model.
  • Provide strategic leadership to advance the use of artificial intelligence and automation across TAS.
  • Serve as the AI leader for Internal Audit, translating emerging AI capabilities into scalable solutions.
  • Lead and maintain the multi year Audit AI strategy and roadmap.
  • Identify and prioritize high impact AI and analytics use cases across the audit lifecycle.
  • Define value measures for AI adoption.
  • Oversee TAS AI governance.
  • Establish and enforce controls for responsible AI use.
  • Partner with Technology and Data teams to implement controlled, auditable AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, or a related field
  • 10 years of experience in Data Analytics and/or Data Intelligence
  • Familiarity with AI and GenAI concepts and their practical applications in business processes
  • Experience supporting technology‑enabled or analytics‑driven initiatives in a large organization
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear AI use cases and partner with technical teams on solution delivery
  • Understanding of responsible AI practices, data protection, and basic governance considerations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain AI‑related topics to senior leadership
  • Experience influencing cross‑functional stakeholders and supporting organizational change
