About the role
- Conduct aspects of the model development life cycle including data acquisition and integrity assessment
- Evaluate and maintain monitoring, performance reporting, and change-management processes
- Ensure compliance with Truist model risk management
- Assist with mentoring and training for model development
- Address model questions from partners as needed
- Identify and recruit quantitative talent
Requirements
- Two or more years of relevant experience developing quantitative models using SAS or other software
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to distill complex mathematical concepts into actionable results
- Strong work ethic and continued personal development
- Organization skills to manage competing priorities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Statistics or related field preferred
