About the role

  • Conduct aspects of the model development life cycle including data acquisition and integrity assessment
  • Evaluate and maintain monitoring, performance reporting, and change-management processes
  • Ensure compliance with Truist model risk management
  • Assist with mentoring and training for model development
  • Address model questions from partners as needed
  • Identify and recruit quantitative talent

Requirements

  • Two or more years of relevant experience developing quantitative models using SAS or other software
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to distill complex mathematical concepts into actionable results
  • Strong work ethic and continued personal development
  • Organization skills to manage competing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Statistics or related field preferred
