About the role
- design, build, and lead enterprise-grade reference data management solutions
- architect scalable metadata and hierarchy management solutions
- influence cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across Line of Business (LOB) and Technology delivery functions
- liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring data solutions are scalable, auditable and aligned with cloud and enterprise architecture strategies
- develop scalable solutions for hierarchy frameworks, metadata models, and governance workflows
- configure and develop cloud strategy solutions ensuring customized coding, software integration
- build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production
- responsible for providing automated monitoring capabilities and warranty support
- support ongoing migration effort from on-premises to Cloud-based platform
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
- In-depth knowledge in information systems
- Ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
- Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
- Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
- Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
- Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information
- Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level
- Experience with Open-Source tools and frameworks
- Knowledge on cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architecture
- Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies
- Strong knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)
