About the role

  • design, build, and lead enterprise-grade reference data management solutions
  • architect scalable metadata and hierarchy management solutions
  • influence cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment across Line of Business (LOB) and Technology delivery functions
  • liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams, ensuring data solutions are scalable, auditable and aligned with cloud and enterprise architecture strategies
  • develop scalable solutions for hierarchy frameworks, metadata models, and governance workflows
  • configure and develop cloud strategy solutions ensuring customized coding, software integration
  • build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production
  • responsible for providing automated monitoring capabilities and warranty support
  • support ongoing migration effort from on-premises to Cloud-based platform

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
  • In-depth knowledge in information systems
  • Ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices
  • Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
  • Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
  • Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates
  • Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information
  • Professional experience building high-quality apps or services from the ground up and scaling at an enterprise level
  • Experience with Open-Source tools and frameworks
  • Knowledge on cloud technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong understanding of SOA and/or Open API methodologies and service architecture
  • Experience using web servers, application containers, caching technologies
  • Strong knowledge of relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling)
