About the role
- Responsible for data scanning classification/tagging DSCT as part of the overall data protection department at Truist.
- Manage tools that actively scan unstructured and structured data across the environment both application data.
- Assist in the designing, planning, testing and implementation phases of cybersecurity technology projects.
- Deploy and implement scanning tools to identify vulnerabilities.
- Analyze vulnerabilities and assist development teams to understand and address vulnerability remediation.
- Write scripts (Python, JavaScript, Terraform, etc.) to assist in automation of business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience in systems engineering or administration or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- In-depth knowledge in applied enterprise information security technologies including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network operating systems, identity management, database activity monitoring, encryption, content filtering, and Mainframe security.
- Previous experience in planning and managing IT projects.
