About the role
- Build and drive valuable relationships with client marketing team, marketing centers of excellence, internal business partners, external partners to translate business, client, and product strategies into supporting marketing strategies.
- Define execution plans and timelines in support of client engagement marketing strategy for events, trade shows and conferences.
- Collaborate with internal and external marketing partners to develop and execute marketing programs for the business.
- Manage relationships with vendors and trade show/conference contacts.
- Document and report post-engagement results summary for review, and schedule/facilitate lessons learned discussions with marketing and business partners.
- Support Salesforce marketing campaigns.
- Manage projects and marketing budgets.
- Stay abreast of best in class industry trade shows, conferences, events and experiential marketing delivery channels.
- Ensure alignment of all strategies to the Truist Purpose and Brand.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training
- 4+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- In-depth knowledge of principles, practices, theories, and/or methodologies associated with the Marketing discipline (e.g., Marketing P’s, Market research, analytics, digital)
- Experience managing projects or project work streams
- Experience with Salesforce or CRM systems
- Knowledge of the clients and industry's competitive landscape and the factors that differentiate Truist and its competitors in the market
- Ability to interpret and explain complex information to a range of audiences and build consensus among different stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
