About the role
- Develop and manage the overall onboarding events to maximize the profitability of the Firm's investment in newly-recruited Wealth teammates.
- Develop and oversee Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Managers and Wealth Onboarding Specialists.
- Oversees coordinating of all onboarding events and works with Divisional Directors, Complex Directors and Managing Directors for any issues that may arise.
- Reviews and maintains content on Onboarding and Training website.
- Works with management and other key areas for continued development of onboarding process.
- Review of post onboarding activities.
- Works closely with Truist Wealth Director of Development for any reports or special projects needed by management.
- Ability to travel for meetings and help with onsite onboarding if needed.
- Coaching and developing Wealth Brokerage Onboarding and Transition Managers and Wealth Onboarding Specialists.
- Tracks onboarding expenses and onboarding stats to ensure maximum profitability and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and related training
- Seven years of broker/dealer or financial services industry experience. Strong understanding Wealth products, services, operations and systems.
- Five years of management experience mentoring, training and developing other teammates
- FINRA SIE, 7, 66, 24 examinations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to prioritize tasks, reprioritize tasks and work well under intense pressure
- Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Products; knowledge of brokerage systems would be a plus
- Ability to do extensive travel, 1-7 weeks at a time, including weekends
