About the role

  • Partner with application owners and technical teams to assess current-state environments and determine upgrade or migration requirements for operating systems and databases.
  • Facilitate structured planning discussions using established project methodologies and guidelines to define the appropriate upgrade approach, scope, and timeline for each application.
  • Track, monitor, and drive execution of application upgrade activities.
  • Document and maintain clear, accurate records of risks, issues, decisions, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Work across matrixed teams to remove impediments, escalate blockers, and ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide regular status updates, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Ensure upgrade paths adhere to enterprise architecture standards, security requirements, and technology lifecycle policies.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training
  • Two years of information technology experience with significant experience in software development
  • Two years of experience as a business analyst or related role
  • dexperience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Business Process Management Relationship Management, Business Operations, or Quality Management
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Experience with traditional Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean methodologies work requests/project requirements
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
  • Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels
  • Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment
  • Strong ability to resolve conflicts, excellent facilitation and organizational skills
  • Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
  • Knowledgeable of core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects.
