About the role
- Support the coordinated delivery of estate and trust administration
- Assist Estate Advisors in the administration of Estate and Trusts for clients who have passed away
- Collaborate with other members of the Wealth team to provide high service level
- Identify, collect, and value all assets
- Settle all debts and expenses
- Distribute assets according to governing documents
- Coordinate communication with external parties such as heirs, attorneys, and accountants
- Manage daily transactions and prepare receipts and disbursements
- Compile tax documents for estate, fiduciary and final income tax returns
Requirements
- 3+ years in the role as an Estate Support Specialist or equivalent experience
- Understanding of operating systems unique to line of business, including trust and estate
- Strong knowledge of bank policies and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exemplary customer service and professional etiquette skills
- Ability to travel occasionally overnight
- Undergraduate degree preferred
- Trust School attendee or graduate preferred
- Fiduciary experience a plus
