About the role

  • Provide direction and leadership, with emphasis on planning, development, and both short-term and long-term strategies or implementation roadmaps.
  • Assess organizational objectives, defines mobilization activities and develops achievable goals to implement processes that improve departmental effectiveness.
  • Provide leadership and management oversight to achieve processing and performance results of the highest quality, which are in accordance and consistent with corporate objectives, legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Direct and lead teammate development and engagement. Make recommendations for teammates regarding employment, career and professional development, performance evaluations, salary changes, promotions, transfers and terminations within established policies and guidelines.
  • Develops and implement standards, processes and procedures consistent with “best practices” and Financial Services Industry Standards.
  • Works with business units and functional groups within their designated line of business to drive cohesion and connectivity across large scale working efforts.
  • Directs activities to ensure appropriate support for merger/conversion process to provide a seamless transition.
  • Promotes a results-oriented-team environment that continuously evaluates existing operations.

Requirements

  • College Degree in business or related field, or equivalent education and related experience
  • 5-7 years in commercial lending, business administration, banking operations and management, strategic planning, or risk
  • Strong lending knowledge including but not limited to consulting, commercial/retail products, specialty lending, appraisals, regulatory and compliance, servicing, due diligence, documentation, funding and reconciliations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact with executive leadership
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills
  • Ability to work proactively and operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with variable deadlines
  • MBA, or other advanced level degree (preferred)
  • Banking School Certification (preferred)
