About the role
- Partner with organizational stakeholders in designing and maintaining financial methodology standards
- Provide ongoing research, testing, industry benchmarking, and communication with lines of business
- Execute against the team’s financial methodologies and management target-state systems
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to stay abreast of regulatory or modeling changes
- Lead governance routines as the SME of enterprise methodologies for specific standards
- Demonstrate strategic thinking and proactive behavior to drive decision making
- Gather data and perform analysis to validate proposals and understand implications
- Develop and update documentation around financial methodologies
- Prepare executive documents or presentations
- Lead or support ad-hoc projects or analyses as needed
Requirements
- 7-10 years of financial services, banking, and/or management consulting trajectory
- Experience in Treasury, Financial Risk Management, FP&A or similar roles
- Familiarity with banking balance sheet products and concepts
- Experience in one or more key bank measurement systems or financial modeling
- Basic understanding of financial performance management theory and practice
- Working knowledge of standard bank regulatory metrics under Basel framework
- Knowledge of theoretical and applied accounting and finance concepts
