About the role
- Work with assigned area of the company (AFCO Direct insurance premium finance) to expand knowledge of B2B lending, the insurance industry and the company.
- Complete specific projects for departments.
- Assist department staff with various tasks in support of business.
- Participate in internship meetings and discussions across Truist and AFCO Direct.
- Share a presentation that outlines your internship experience
- Meet with the internship committee to evaluate the experience
- Evaluate future career objectives
Requirements
- Must be a rising college junior or senior; Preference given to rising seniors
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to effectively interact with teammates at all levels of the organization and with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and details
- Ability to operate a computer with Windows knowledge; Word and Excel preferred
- Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
- Ability to work virtually or in an assigned company office
