About the role

  • Deliver and support Enterprise Storage solutions using IBM FlashSystem Storage, MDS SAN switches, and IBM Scale GPFS on RHEL
  • Administer, configure, and design storage solutions based on IBM Storage Scale
  • Troubleshoot complex storage problems within multi-petabyte environments
  • Automate provisioning and configuration tasks using Ansible Automation Platform and Gitlab
  • Monitor infrastructure health and respond to issues
  • Support and maintain technology standards related to cloud infrastructure
  • Contribute to large bank projects by providing consultancy on data processing infrastructure architectures
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation and charts describing infrastructure setups

Requirements

  • 4 Year Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ten to fifteen years of experience in system design/architecture aligned with responsibilities
  • Extensive knowledge in troubleshooting, implementing and supporting enterprise storage, SAN, storage management
  • Preferred: Five+ years with IBM enterprise storage and SAN, complex design, engineering, and troubleshooting
  • Strong experience with IBM Spectrum Scale, IBM FS9200/9500, Cisco MDS SAN switches, and Linux RHEL 8/9
  • Strong scripting skills in Bash shell and Python
  • Proficiency in Ansible automation and experience designing automation workflows
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Strong problem-solving skills
