About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain scalable end-to-end (E2E), integration, and API testing frameworks from scratch.
- Build automated quality infrastructure that supports rapid product development and deployment.
- Develop testing frameworks and evaluation systems for AI/LLM-powered applications, including agentic workflows and RAG-based systems.
- Create automated guardrails, confidence metrics, regression detection, and traceability mechanisms for non-deterministic AI systems.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable and continuous delivery.
- Leverage AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate test development and maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers to improve testability and establish quality standards across backend and frontend systems.
- Implement testing strategies for REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication flows, and microservice architectures.
- Monitor application quality in production using observability and analytics tools.
- Help drive a culture of engineering excellence, automation, and quality ownership across distributed teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Senior-level experience as an SDET or Test Automation Engineer.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred), Cypress, or Puppeteer.
- Extensive experience testing REST and GraphQL APIs, including authentication and authorization flows.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and test data management.
- Proven ability to design and build testing frameworks from scratch.
- Experience working independently in remote, async-first environments.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
