About the role
- Own and manage the monthly FP&A close, aligning actuals with budget and forecast
- Analyze P&L performance, identifying variances and key business drivers
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning cycles
- Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with accounting teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition (RevRec)
- Review financial data to ensure integrity across systems and reports
- Act as a quality control layer between accounting outputs and FP&A insights
- Validate cost allocations, including salaries and operating expenses
- Ensure expenses are properly categorized and aligned with financial plans
- Support and validate the month-end close process
- Build and maintain financial models and reports (Excel-based)
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, Finance, or related roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, budgeting, forecasting)
- Exposure to revenue recognition principles (RevRec)
- Advanced Excel skills (financial modeling, analysis, reporting)
