About the role
- Design and detail large-scale structural platforms and systems used in industrial plant environments
- Create and review drawings using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, and related tools
- Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable
- Lead technical decision-making on projects ranging from 15M to 20M in scope
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, helping elevate team capability and direction
- Review and extract key components from complex drawings and plans
- Support continuous improvement of engineering processes, tools, and workflows
- Participate in onsite walkthroughs and design reviews as needed
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in structural or industrial engineering
- Strong background designing structures for heavy industrial environments such as cement, manufacturing, or processing plants
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor
- Experience with structural detailing and fabrication-ready design
- Ability to lead projects and provide technical guidance to less experienced engineers
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- Hands-on, practical mindset with the ability to translate design into real-world production
