About the role
- Independently handle own caseload—drafting motions, overseeing discovery, and advocating for clients
- Report to the Managing Litigation Attorney
- Collaborate with supportive attorneys and paralegals
- Focus on Title 14 litigation (trusts, probate, guardianship, conservatorship)
- No rainmaking or administrative duties
- Engage in professional development and mentorship opportunities
- Contribute to estate-related dispute resolution and career progression
Requirements
- Active Arizona Bar membership
- Proven or emerging skills in Title 14 litigation (trusts, probate, guardianship, conservatorship under Arizona law)
- Excellent client communication skills
- Detail oriented, adaptable, able to stay organized amid shifting deadlines
- Tech savvy, comfortable picking up new legal tools
- Self starter mindset with a commitment to long term growth and legacy-building
- (Nice to have) Hands on experience with depositions, hearings, and plea/defense drafting
- (Nice to have) Background in estate planning or related areas
- (Nice to have) Familiarity with recent legislative updates to Arizona’s Title 14 (e.g., SB 1291 effective October 30, 2023)
