About the role
- Manage cases from initial intake through trial or settlement. Develop and execute defense strategies in complex litigation matters. Conduct and manage depositions, mediations, and court proceedings. Handle trial preparation independently, including drafting pleadings and motions. Collaborate closely with senior attorneys and clients to deliver successful outcomes. Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and opposing counsel.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in construction defect, bodily injury, insurance defense, public entity, professional liability, and products liability defense. Admission to the CA bar and in good standing. Proven ability to independently manage cases from start to finish. Experience with trial preparation and depositions is essential. Excellent legal writing, communication, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience in employment defense is a plus.
