About the role
- Handle your own caseload of litigated insurance defense matters, including general liability, premises liability, and minor auto claims
- Draft responsive pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Conduct depositions, prepare legal research, and participate in motion practice
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and gain direct litigation exposure
- Contribute to a supportive, high-performance team with hybrid work flexibility
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in the state of Texas
- Approximately 2+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense
- Familiarity with general liability, premises, or auto liability claims
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple files
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills
