About the role
- Lead and participate in incident response efforts to contain and recover from security breaches.
- Train other staff on cybersecurity best practices and mentor junior technical teams.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations.
- Work closely with IT, engineering, and management teams to integrate security into system design and operations.
Requirements

- Proficiency with various security tools like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, SIEM platforms, and vulnerability scanners.
- Provide strategic leadership to enhance an organization's security posture.
- Analyze threats, conduct thorough risk assessments, and develop mitigation strategies to address vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies, secure operating systems, and robust network security architectures.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of areas like network security, cryptography, secure operating systems, and incident forensics.
- Analyze threat intelligence to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop countermeasures.
