Requirements
10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5+ years focused on security engineering and 5+ experience in a lead or management role.
PMP is highly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field experience preferred.
Experience with overseeing a hybrid infrastructure (on-prem and cloud) environment.
Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills in explaining complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders as well as executive-level reporting.
Demonstrate familiarity with cloud security concepts, services, and operations (AWS, Azure, O365) including migration, security hardening, and cost optimization.
Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including secure code and automation is incorporated into the build, test, and deployment process for security operations.
Managing a variety of enterprise cybersecurity tools including Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms across a hybrid environment
Experience integrating data pipeline solutions with SIEM platforms.
Hands-on experience with federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST 800-53, NIST 800-92, OMB M-21-31, CDM).
Strong background in infrastructure management: Windows/Linux servers, patching, vulnerability remediation, network appliances, and endpoint security.
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities for identifying and addressing security issues
