About the role
- Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions that align with evolving business requirements and deliver measurable impact.
- Extend and customize Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), Flows, and integrations with third-party platforms such as HubSpot, Zywave, and Insurance customer management systems.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure clean, reliable code and seamless end-user experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, operations, and customer service teams to gather requirements and implement effective, scalable solutions.
- Be an active, integrated member of the team—this role goes beyond writing code. We value developers who contribute ideas, engage with stakeholders, and help shape the direction of our platform.
- Support administrative tasks as needed, including user management (setup, deactivation, roles, and profiles), license allocation, and resolution of support tickets.
- Stay informed on Salesforce platform updates, emerging features, and development best practices to ensure the organization remains ahead of the curve.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture and security model, with a strong sense of when to leverage declarative tools (e.g., Flow, Validation Rules, Permission Sets) versus custom development.
- Hybrid expertise across administration and development, with comfort navigating both configuration and code to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical execution, manage stakeholder expectations, and control scope in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-directed and resourceful, operating with a startup mindset—comfortable with ambiguity, rapid learning, and taking ownership of end-to-end delivery.
- Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to design and implement targeted, efficient solutions to unique business challenges across sales, service, and operational teams.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Administrator, Advanced Administrator) are preferred, and demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field is preferred, but not required.
