About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the firm's client onboarding and compliance processes
  • Assist with AML checks and client due diligence reviews
  • Conduct client and matter research using screening tools and databases
  • Verify information submitted by fee earners and support staff
  • Respond to enquiries and provide guidance throughout the onboarding process
  • Carry out conflicts searches and identify potential issues
  • Support the wider Risk & Compliance Team with administrative and compliance-related tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduate, or previous compliance experience
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Well organised with ability to manage competing priorities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new systems
  • Positive, adaptable and eager to learn
  • Subject to employment screening background checks, including personal details, education and employment history, professional qualifications, and credit and criminal checks as appropriate
