About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Use various inspection devices/methods to complete in process inspection plans.
Work with manufacturing personnel to improve process and reduce defects.
Accept conforming or reject defective non-conforming components.
Work from blueprints, sketches, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or equivalent required
Basic understanding of blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
Work under very limited supervision and must be self-starters and problem solvers
Detail oriented
Time management skills
Knowledge of computer skills
Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
Ability to communicate effectively
Working knowledge of inspection equipment used in the inspection process (e.g. optical comparator, calipers, radius gauge, etc.) preferred
GD&T knowledge preferred
NET-Inspect experience preferred
Familiarity with machine shop process and environment preferred
