About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Use various inspection devices/methods to complete in process inspection plans.
  • Work with manufacturing personnel to improve process and reduce defects.
  • Accept conforming or reject defective non-conforming components.
  • Work from blueprints, sketches, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic understanding of blueprints, specifications, and work instructions
  • Work under very limited supervision and must be self-starters and problem solvers
  • Detail oriented
  • Time management skills
  • Knowledge of computer skills
  • Ability to work well within a team as well as individually
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Working knowledge of inspection equipment used in the inspection process (e.g. optical comparator, calipers, radius gauge, etc.) preferred
  • GD&T knowledge preferred
  • NET-Inspect experience preferred
  • Familiarity with machine shop process and environment preferred
