About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as the primary point of contact for aerospace customers (OEMs, airlines, MROs, defense agencies).
- Build strong, longterm customer relationships and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Lead customer meetings, business reviews, and communication on program status.
- Prepare and submit quotations, pricing updates, and proposals.
- Manage negotiation of longterm agreements (LTAs) and service-level agreements (As).
- Address quality issues, nonconformances, warranty claims, and technical concerns.
- Provide timely updates and closure of customer issues.
- Collect customer demand forecasts and translate them into internal planning forecasts.
- Identify risks, opportunities, and changes in customer demand.
- Support annual revenue planning, budgeting, and sales targets.
- Work cross functionally with product line IPT to ensure customer and business requirements are filled.
- Maintain accurate CRM and ERP data for accounts, orders, and forecasts.
- Prepare reports on OTD, revenue, customer scorecards, and account performance.
- Provide executivelevel summaries for leadership.
- Create and maintain a Product Line Communication matrix.
- Represent the “voice of the customer” internally.
- Work closely with supply chain, engineering, quality, finance, operations, and Product Line IPT.
- Participate in internal meetings to align priorities and resolve constraints.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years progressive experience in Program Management
- 5+ years working in a customer-facing role with understanding of ERP transactional process in a production environment
- Experience with preparing, submitting and pricing proposals as well as completing price packages submitted to customers
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing environment a plus.
- Background in estimating, costing and profit margins is highly preferable
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
- Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level
