About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Liaison between the Supplier, Triumph Engineering and Triumph Quality
Take internal operational challenges and drive process improvements in the supply base
Interface with internal teams and Suppliers in respectful way; facilitate productive communications between Engineering and Supplier regarding technical risks, challenges and opportunities
Uphold Quality and Process System requirements; work within quality system to manage review and disposition of supplier non-conformities. Support RCCA process with supplier as needed
Use technical skillset to bring cost reduction ideas to Supplier/Engineering
Conduct onsite Supplier Risk Assessments
Proactively manage poor performing suppliers using quality data trend analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor or Associate degree in technical field
Experience working in a technical capacity in a Manufacturing Environment, preferably working on cross-functional teams
Experience working with external manufacturers and/or service providers
Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative, quality, and results-driven work ethic
Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint)
Travel Required ~40%
