About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Liaison between the Supplier, Triumph Engineering and Triumph Quality
  • Take internal operational challenges and drive process improvements in the supply base
  • Interface with internal teams and Suppliers in respectful way; facilitate productive communications between Engineering and Supplier regarding technical risks, challenges and opportunities
  • Uphold Quality and Process System requirements; work within quality system to manage review and disposition of supplier non-conformities. Support RCCA process with supplier as needed
  • Use technical skillset to bring cost reduction ideas to Supplier/Engineering
  • Conduct onsite Supplier Risk Assessments
  • Proactively manage poor performing suppliers using quality data trend analysis

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in technical field
  • Experience working in a technical capacity in a Manufacturing Environment, preferably working on cross-functional teams
  • Experience working with external manufacturers and/or service providers
  • Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative, quality, and results-driven work ethic
  • Strong PC skills (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint)
  • Travel Required ~40%
