About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the design of equipment storage for tools, fixtures, and products used in manufacturing.
- Assist in the optimization of the manufacturing environment to reduce waste.
- Assist in the creation of manufacturing documentation.
- Help identify opportunities for improvement of manufacturing processes.
- Contribute to maintaining high safety and quality standards throughout the manufacturing floor.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field from a college or university.
- Strong academic record (e.g., minimum GPA of 3.0 or as specified by the company).
- Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk, etc.).
- Basic understanding of common shop tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, calipers, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to a dynamic manufacturing environment.
