Promote work orders from MRP system to ensure timely release and completion of components in line with production planning requirements
Review and Process required MRP exception messages
Maintain schedule, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path issues and network logic conflicts.
Implement and maintain Kanban processes
Collaborate with Program Management and Contracts to understand demand forecast drivers
Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs
Perform related inventory transactions into ERP system
Work with demand forecasting, incorporating current and accurate information
Execute excellence around stock and demand replenishment providing feedback to the supply chain on risks regarding replenishment levels and demand.
Plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual cost and schedule objectives are met.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in a planning/scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform effectively in a fast -paced environment with strong attention to detail.
MRP Experience a MUST.
Intermediate level of Microsoft Office competencies.
Experience in statistical reporting, forecasting, and understanding of financial and operational impacts of forecasting
Strong communication and organizational skills
Problem-solving under constraints
Ability to work effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.
