About the role
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal colleagues and key external stakeholders, including C-suite executives, industry leaders, and consultants
- Lead opportunity pre-positioning efforts, support proposal development, and collaborate across teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client and Indigenous Partnership needs while advancing long-term objectives
- Represent Triton at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and strengthen market presence
- Analyze regional and sector-specific market trends, as well as competitor activities, to support informed strategic planning and decision-making
Requirements
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the professional consulting industry
- Strong understanding of Canada’s business landscape and the broader consulting market
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Self-motivated and relationship-driven, with a demonstrated ability to create opportunities and support the successful closing of deals
- Strategic thinker with strong execution skills, capable of translating high-level objectives into actionable plans
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to learning new systems (experience with NetSuite is an asset)
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams and with clients
- Effective time management, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Analytical and solutions-focused, capable of evaluating complex situations and developing practical recommendations
