Accounting Manager

• Partner with the Director of Accounting to oversee financial reporting
• Develop and maintain accounting procedures and practices that ensure accurate financial statements
• Support the Controller with workflow process improvements and special projects
• Collaborate with direct reports to establish annual objectives and goals
• Address employee relations issues, including absenteeism, performance, and conflict resolution
• Assist in designing and implementing procedures that enhance the accounting department’s efficiency
• Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
• Respond to inquiries from the Controller and other senior managers
• Train and advise new and existing staff on reporting transactions
• Monitor and analyze departmental operations to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Adhere to internal quality standards and best practices
• Participate in performance management and development process
