About the role
- Manage a team of tech artists and support efficient pipelines for mobile game development.
- Work with Leads and Directors to set optimized Unity implementation pipeline.
- Prioritizing and scheduling Tech Art team tasks.
- Review all team members' work with clear feedback in GitHub.
- Monitor overall art asset pipeline and create improvement plans.
- Maintain documentation for best practices in the art asset pipeline.
- Partner with Tool Engineers to develop efficiency tools for art teams.
- Plan and deliver training and mentoring programs for the team.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of Unity implementation pipelines and optimization.
- Knowledge of setting and maintaining standards for art asset visual quality.
- Experience managing Tech Art tasks, scheduling, and team bandwidth for successful delivery.
- Proficiency in Git/GitHub for reviewing, guiding commits, and code management.
- Ability to document and enforce naming conventions, asset workflows, and best practices.
- Skills in project profiling, identifying blockers, and implementing optimization solutions.
- Experience collaborating with engineers and directors to improve workflows and technology use.
- Ability to mentor, critique constructively, and support team members’ growth and performance.
- Strong leadership in recruitment, performance reviews, and succession planning.
- Positive team-focused approach: communication, collaboration, inclusion, and motivation.
