Play a pivotal role developing new casual mobile titles from prototyping to production.
Develop rapid prototypes from rudimentary game pitches to test hypotheses and validate gameplay concepts.
Collaborate closely with artists, designers, engineers, user research, and data analysts to achieve project goals.
Implement core gameplay systems, tools, and pipelines to production-quality standards.
Respond and iterate quickly based on player feedback, telemetry results, and design pivots.
Contribute to technical decision-making and shape technology choices for production.
Transition projects from pre-production into full production, adapting development practices as needed.
Optimize for performance and memory usage across a wide range of mobile platforms.
Work within an agile development environment and adapt to evolving requirements and priorities.
Requirements
7+ years of professional engineering experience within the gaming industry.
Demonstrated proficiency with Unity and casual mobile game development.
Solid understanding of game architecture, design patterns, and best practices for mobile platforms.
Prior experience collaborating cross-functionally and communicating with designers, artists, UX/UI designers, product managers, data analysts, and technical leadership.
Proven ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
