About the role
- Responsible for the overall administration of the clinical departments
- Monitor and analyze QAPI issues
- Direct clinical staff regarding agency policies and procedures
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group, patient, family and referring agencies
- Supervise and provide direction to subordinates
- Ensure quality, compliance with the Plan of Care, assessment and reassessment of patients’ needs
- Monitor the QAPI Program
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Current license as a registered nurse (RN) in the appropriate state
- At least one year of hospice experience as a registered nurse obtained within the last 36 months
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrate proven decision making skills
- Proof of current CPR if required to make visits
- Must read, write and comprehend English
