About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the evaluation and execution of real estate investment opportunities that contribute to long-term portfolio growth.
Continuously improve underwriting accuracy, reporting quality, and analytical processes that support strategic decision-making.
Take accountability for delivering accurate financial models, market research, and investment analyses within established timelines.
Proactively identify risks, inconsistencies, or opportunities during underwriting, due diligence, and asset management processes.
Support compliance with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements through detailed and responsible analysis.
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams, investors, and external partners to maintain trust and transparency.
Assist in financial underwriting for student housing and multifamily development and acquisition opportunities, including opportunity evaluation and investment analysis.
Perform financial modeling and analysis, including cash flow projections, valuation modeling, and investment return analysis to support business decisions.
Conduct market research, due diligence, and competitive analysis for target markets and development opportunities.
Support management of the company’s real estate portfolio, including student housing, mixed-use, multifamily, and other operating assets.
Assist with budget preparation, business planning, debt compliance monitoring, quarterly valuations, and recurring portfolio reporting.
Support refinance, disposition, lease, and credit tenant analyses as needed.
Participate in capital market activities related to real estate acquisitions and investments.
Build strong working relationships with development teams, asset management, senior leadership, and cross-functional partners.
Contribute to Investment Committee discussions through objective analysis and thoughtful project evaluation.
Support investor relations efforts through organized, accurate, and professional communication.
Assist legal, finance, and accounting teams with compliance-related matters and documentation.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial real estate financial analysis, underwriting, or related investment analysis.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling; strong understanding of real estate underwriting and valuation methodologies.
Professional Skills: Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
