- Create database objects/writing stored procedure.
- Analyze and optimize slow SQL queries in MS SQL Server (joins, subqueries etc.).
- Work with execution plans, indexes, statistics, and partitioning to enhance performance.
- Demonstrates the ability to clearly understand and effectively analyze business requirements.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure efficient SQL and schema use across the platform.
- Propose structural, architectural, and performance-oriented improvements.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with MS SQL Server as a SQL Developer.
- Demonstrated practical experience in SQL query optimization.
- Strong skills in analyzing execution plans, designing indexing strategies, and tuning performance.
- Strong ability to write clean code in accordance with the project's technical requirements.
- Solid knowledge of OLTP database design principles and best practices.
- Ability to present real examples of performance improvements or schema redesigns you have implemented.
