About the role

  • Lead and execute data center and customer circuit migrations.
  • Coordinate with third-party providers to install new fiber and deliver services (e.g., tails, cross-connects).
  • Work closely with field technicians to verify fiber patching and physical connectivity.
  • Validate fiber connections and troubleshoot issues related to DWDM backbone link onboarding.
  • Manage escalations and drive resolution for high-impact infrastructure issues.
  • Ensure timely and quality delivery of backbone orders by staying on top of supplier commitments.
  • Perform network configuration and troubleshooting using CLI across various network operating systems (Cisco IOS, Junos, Arista EOS).

Requirements

  • Solid experience in network infrastructure projects, especially data center migrations and fiber installations.
  • Hands-on experience with CLI in a multivendor environment (Cisco IOS, Junos, Arista EOS).
  • Familiarity with DWDM systems for verification and troubleshooting of fiber connectivity.
  • Proven ability to manage suppliers and coordinate service delivery (e.g., fiber, tails, cross-connects).
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across internal teams and external partners.
