About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production, mission-critical applications
Write SQL queries to analyze data issues, database performance, and data integrity
Diagnose and resolve issues across REST APIs, web applications, and backend services
Partner with developers to identify root causes, implement fixes, and deploy changes
Support and monitor Windows and Linux systems and services
Work within a biweekly sprint cycle, contributing to planning and execution
Proactively identify recurring issues and implement solutions to improve system reliability and reduce support load
Communicate findings and resolutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, and/or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience
3–5 years of professional experience in software development, application support, or a similar technical role
Experience working in production environments and handling real-world system issues
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience with SQL Server (writing queries, data analysis and troubleshooting; performance tuning and database management are a plus)
Understanding of relational database fundamentals (transactions, indexing, ACID, DML/DDL)
Experience troubleshooting web applications and RESTful APIs
Exposure to Windows Server environments and administration
Ability to read and understand C#/.NET code for debugging and issue analysis
Working knowledge of HTML and JavaScript for troubleshooting front-end issues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex systems
Ability to support time-sensitive, high-availability environments
Clear communication skills for working across technical and non-technical teams.
