About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee business operations at a Utility-scale Renewable Energy Operations Control Center (OCC)
- Develop, track, and manage OCC operating budgets
- Oversee invoicing, receivables, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to improve cost efficiency
- Manage contract deliverables and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Liaise with internal and external auditors and regulatory officials
- Lead initiatives to improve workflow efficiency and OCC business processes
- Assist in workforce planning including staffing strategies and training plans
- Coordinate procurement of OCC business services and vendor management
- Present periodic performance summaries and KPI dashboards
- Monitor OCC business metrics and facilitate timely reporting
- Serve as principal business contact between OCC, GOP, asset owners, and other key parties
- Support OCC and GOP relationship management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of business operations management experience, ideally in energy, utilities, or renewables
- Staff management experience preferred
- Familiarity with NERC, FERC, ISO, and GOP frameworks are strongly preferred
- Strong financial acumen; expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and business analytics
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite; experience with ERP/accounting systems is a plus
