Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 7 to 11 years of experience designing steel and concrete structures
- Licensed structural engineer in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin or demonstrate ability to secure these licensures
- Knowledge of construction methods and materials and code requirements
- Ability to develop design and construction plans
- Proficiency in structural engineering software
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
