About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform onsite machine guarding assessments at manufacturing facilities
  • Support the design, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of machine guarding systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting and modifying machine guarding solutions in active production environments
  • Develop and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other machine safety documentation
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and operations personnel to implement practical safety improvements
  • Coordinate equipment procurement and installation activities
  • Support both new and existing clients on industrial safety and machine guarding projects
  • Travel to client facilities throughout New England, with occasional travel outside the region based on project needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, production equipment, manufacturing, or a related technical field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Hands-on experience with production equipment maintenance, industrial automation, or related industrial systems
  • Familiarity with OSHA General Industry Standards and ANSI B11 machine safety standards
  • Experience supporting the design, fabrication, installation, troubleshooting, or commissioning of machine guarding systems
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Willingness to travel primarily throughout New England, with occasional travel outside the region as project needs require
