About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You support our clients in day-to-day operational tasks such as budget planning, budget vs. actual analysis and ad-hoc analyses, and the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to HGB and international standards (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP), gradually building your expertise across all finance areas.
In addition, you contribute conceptually to projects such as the creation and further development of management reports (e.g. using analytics tools).
Design and implementation of new process structures in general and sub-ledger accounting processes as well as in classic controlling processes (budgeting, planning, reporting).
Implementation of new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 16) and drafting of new accounting guidelines.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Economics, preferably with a focus on Accounting and Controlling, or a comparable commercial vocational qualification.
At least 2–7 years of professional experience in accounting or controlling.
Confident use of a common ERP system (e.g. SAP or DATEV) and good MS Office skills.
Willingness to travel as required in a consulting environment.
Team player with strong communication skills and pronounced analytical abilities.
Fluent German language skills.
High level of initiative and enjoyment of independent project work.
