About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

As an Accountant (m/f/d) you will support our clients at changing locations in implementing projects and handling operational matters.
Carrying out projects in financial/accounting accounting (Finanz-/Bilanzbuchhaltung) for our clients
Supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB or, where applicable, IFRS, US-GAAP
Optimizing and further developing accounting processes
Providing subject-matter support for system or process implementations
Developing innovative ideas and consulting solutions within the team
Actively shaping your own development plan for professional growth in finance and accounting, for example through internal training in areas such as SAP S/4HANA, Power BI and Scrum

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed commercial vocational training and/or certified financial/accounting clerk (Bilanzbuchhalter) (IHK) or a comparable degree
Minimum 2–7 years of professional experience in accounting
Confident use of a common ERP system (e.g., SAP or DATEV) and good MS Office skills
Willingness to travel as required in a consulting environment
Team player with strong communication and analytical skills
Fluent German language skills
A high degree of initiative and enjoyment of independent project work
