About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee a portfolio of client accounts and lead a team of Account Directors and account management professionals to deliver exceptional client experiences and business outcomes
  • Ensure strategic consistency, client retention, delivery excellence, and commercial performance across your portfolio
  • Serve as a senior advisor to key clients
  • Coach and develop Account Directors and senior account teams
  • Oversee portfolio performance, including account health, profitability, delivery quality, and client retention metrics
  • Partner with strategy, creative, media, production, and resource management teams
  • Review account strategies and growth plans
  • Act as the senior escalation point for client, delivery, or commercial issues
  • Identify portfolio-wide opportunities for improvement
  • Drive strategic account growth

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 9+ years of experience in account management, client partnerships, or agency leadership roles
  • Proven experience managing multiple high-value client accounts or portfolios
  • Strong experience leading and developing senior account management teams
  • Demonstrated success driving client retention, account growth, and portfolio profitability
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level relationship-building skills
  • Experience working across integrated marketing disciplines including strategy, creative, media, and production
  • Strong commercial understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scope management, and profitability
