About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee a portfolio of client accounts and lead a team of Account Directors and account management professionals to deliver exceptional client experiences and business outcomes
- Ensure strategic consistency, client retention, delivery excellence, and commercial performance across your portfolio
- Serve as a senior advisor to key clients
- Coach and develop Account Directors and senior account teams
- Oversee portfolio performance, including account health, profitability, delivery quality, and client retention metrics
- Partner with strategy, creative, media, production, and resource management teams
- Review account strategies and growth plans
- Act as the senior escalation point for client, delivery, or commercial issues
- Identify portfolio-wide opportunities for improvement
- Drive strategic account growth
Requirements
What you’ll need- 9+ years of experience in account management, client partnerships, or agency leadership roles
- Proven experience managing multiple high-value client accounts or portfolios
- Strong experience leading and developing senior account management teams
- Demonstrated success driving client retention, account growth, and portfolio profitability
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level relationship-building skills
- Experience working across integrated marketing disciplines including strategy, creative, media, and production
- Strong commercial understanding of budgeting, forecasting, scope management, and profitability
