About the role
- Own and manage all accounting functions, including A/P, A/R, credit card management, revenue recognition, and general ledger.
- Lead the monthly close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external financial packages.
- Enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Serve as Admin/Super User for the firm’s ERP system.
- Prepare the annual budget and ongoing monthly forecasts.
- Manage cash flow and maintain strong banking relationships.
- Support financial planning and analysis to guide business decisions.
- Prepare all documentation required for annual tax returns and coordinate with external tax advisors.
- Review, negotiate, and/or draft vendor agreements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- CPA is a plus
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including prior experience as an Accounting Manager or Controller
- Excel Super user
- Experience with systems implementation
- Strong understanding of revenue recognition and project-based accounting (professional services or agency experience preferred)
- Proven ability to operate in a hands-on role while also providing strategic financial leadership.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
