About the role
- Utilize your financial planning expertise to assist member firms with a range of planning strategies, from basic to complex, ensuring they meet their clients' long-term financial goals.
- Clearly communicate financial plans as part of our Fractional Planning offering, including custom plan summary videos that are sent to our member firms.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on financial planning tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, and Nitrogen. Provide guidance, training, and support to member firms in optimizing these tools for comprehensive financial planning.
- Act as a consultant to member firms, responding to, monitoring, and tracking incoming inquiries. Offer tailored guidance on financial planning strategies, with a particular emphasis on retirement planning and tax implications.
- Conduct thorough research on complex financial planning issues, including tax and retirement planning. Provide insights and recommendations that enhance the planning strategies of member firms.
- Create, revise, and present financial planning materials and deliverables to ensure they are technically accurate and accessible to a variety of audiences.
- Advocate for and contribute to the development of planning solutions and tools that align with Triad's mission.
- Drive innovation by managing and participating in projects that support member firms' success.
- Work closely with partner firms, clients, and prospects to provide consulting services related to comprehensive financial planning.
- Lead and support planning-related projects and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and meet the strategic goals of Triad.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and legislative changes that may impact financial planning and advisory services. Share relevant insights with member firms and the Triad team.
- Contribute to Triad's thought leadership by taking initiative in areas such as innovation, creativity, and the development of best practices within the financial planning domain.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience building and delivering financial plans, with a strong focus on retirement planning and tax implications
- Bachelor's degree required
- CFP certification highly preferred; additional certifications such as CRPC, CPFC, CPA, CFA, ChFC, RIPC, a plus
- Proficient in financial planning software with ability to learn quickly. eMoney, Holistiplan and Nitrogen are the main tools we use
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from inception to completion, with strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and across different levels of an organization.
- Understanding of the financial planning landscape, with a commitment to staying informed about new developments and best practices
