About the role
- Independently manage demanding infrastructure projects in the field of urban water management across service phases 1–5 of the HOAI.
- Responsible for project controlling and reporting to project/department management.
- Prepare scope of services for subcontractors as the basis for their engagement.
- Project-related communication with clients, specialist engineers, authorities and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience as a design/planning engineer with a focus on urban water management.
- Solid specialist knowledge in at least three disciplines such as soil and foundation engineering, sewer and pipeline construction, pressure pipelines, route planning, structural engineering or road construction, plus in-depth specialist knowledge in selected areas such as special foundation engineering, sewer rehabilitation, hydraulics or trenchless construction methods.
- Very good knowledge of the HOAI, in particular the service descriptions for engineering structures and road construction.
- Sound knowledge of the relevant standards and regulations, e.g. DIN EN 752, DIN 4124, DIN EN 1610 / DWA 139, DIN 1045.
- Proficient in Office 365; ideally initial experience with AutoCAD and California Pro.
- Strong technical understanding, analytical thinking and a drive for innovative solutions.
- Structured, quality-conscious and largely independent working style.
- Confident and assertive manner, strong communication skills, basic leadership abilities and high teamwork aptitude.
- Excellent spoken and written German (min. C2 level).
