About the role
- Planning, design and supervision of projects.
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team of specialists.
- Developing solutions for the sustainable management of water resources.
- Managing sewer network projects — from new construction to sustainable maintenance measures.
- Preparing flood risk assessments for external areas of residential and commercial projects and ensuring protection and climate adaptation.
- Supporting project implementation by preparing tender documents.
- Using specialized software such as Vestra: Kanal, Tandler: Kanal++, STORM and BricsCAD.
Requirements
- University degree in engineering, preferably in civil engineering with a focus on urban/municipal water management.
- Alternatively in process engineering, environmental protection, or a comparable field.
- Initial professional experience in a similar role; ideally some experience in construction site supervision/management.
- Knowledge of relevant standards such as DIN, DVGW, DWA and VOB.
- Ideally experienced with industry-specific software such as AutoCAD/BricsCAD, STORM or AVA (tendering/contracting) programs.
- Ability to work independently while valuing teamwork.
- Openness, motivation and customer-orientation.
- Business-fluent German, both written and spoken (minimum C1 level).
