About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own end-to-end product design. Contribute to design across Treeswift’s core platform, from discovery and workflow mapping through polished designs, prototypes, implementation details, and post-launch iteration.
Design for complex, real-world operational decisions. Our users rely on Treeswift to inspect, triage, and act on data collected in the field. You will design interfaces that make dense, multidimensional data understandable and actionable for arborists, storm responders, and utility operations teams.
Build scalable product and design systems. Own our design system, component library, interaction patterns, and visual language. Help turn customer-specific workflows into reusable primitives that keep the product coherent as we expand.
Partner deeply across functions. Work closely with product, engineering, forward deployed engineers, customer teams, and sales to translate customer needs into high-quality product experiences.

Requirements

What you’ll need

5+ years of professional product design experience, including meaningful time shipping complex B2B, enterprise software.
A portfolio that shows strong craft across interaction design, information design, and visual design, especially for data-dense interfaces.
Comfort operating as a senior IC and a leader simultaneously. You can run a workshop with executives, sit with a field inspector, and build Figma design files and interactive prototypes.
Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and excitement to work in an early-stage environment. You can be scrappy when needed, and also have experience helping teams mature their design practices over time.
Fluency designing and maintaining design systems in production.
